Teens age 14 - 18 who are kind, dependable, enjoy working with young children and performing are welcome to apply for our summer Counselor in Training positions! Experience babysitting and CPR certification are a plus, and the ability to be off your phone is a must.

 

Our CITs help instructors keep the camp flowing from activity to activity, to the pool and during the final performances on stage. They may help campers learn songs, dances and their lines for the camp skit too.

 

There are two different locations to help us with summer camps, and CITs are required to attend the entire camp session they are chosen to help us. All CITs receive a stipend for their time based on their age ranging from $100 per week to $400 for our oldest CITs. Community service hours can be taken instead of a stipend if requested.

Camps at Episcopal High School:

  • CITs need to arrive by 8:00 am and stay through the end of carpool at 4:00 pm.

  • Daily lunch is provided to CITs at Episcopal.

  • CITs may swim each day.

  • There will be no camps on Juneteenth (June 19th) and July 4th.

 

June 9th:  Hogwarts themed camps

All CITs should have read the books to assist with these camps. Seeing the films isn’t quite enough for this group!

 

June 16th: Wicked themed camps

No camp on Juneteenth. CITs should have seen the movie at least once. ☺

Camps At Burgundy Farm Country Day School:

  • These camp sessions are 2-weeks long.

  • At Burgundy everyone needs to arrive by 7:30, and camp ends at 4pm.

  • ​Lunch is provided to CITs one time per week by Burgundy camp admin.

  • CITs can swim on Friday afternoonwith campers.

  • There will be no camps on Juneteenth (June 19th) and July 4th.

Middle Division | Campers ages 6 – 8

  • 6/16 – 6/27: Muggles and Wizards Unite!

  • 6/30 – 7/11: Under the Sea

  • 7/14 – 7/25: The Show Must Go On!

  • 7/28 – 8/8: The Sparkle of Believing

Upper Division | Campers ages 9 – 11

  • 6/16 – 6/27: Wizards Unite!

  • 6/30 – 7/11: Musical Theatre Magic!

  • 7/14 – 7/25: More Musical Theatre

  • 7/28 – 8/8: Let's Put on a Show!
